A sensory tent is an enclosed play space designed to help children regulate — softer light inside, muted sound, and a clear physical boundary that says 'this is my calm place'. Ours are made by Podsplay from breathable cotton with a solid but soft frame, so a child can duck in, breathe out, and come back when they're ready.
Many families use them exactly that way. Occupational therapists often recommend a dedicated 'low-stimulus zone' at home, and an enclosed tent gives a child predictable, portable control over their surroundings.
